FAQs

Our first priority at PhysMed is providing you with the unique care you need to recover. With that in mind, please contact us if you have any case-specific questions. Otherwise, please feel free to take a look at the information below about some of the common questions we receive.

Why are my neck and spine in pain after my accident?

We take any pain symptoms seriously. Their cause is the first question we will attempt to answer, beginning during your initial consultation. There are too many possible injuries to list here, but we will systematically diagnose your condition so that we can design the most effective treatment plan possible.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept many major Florida health insurance companies. Please call us for the most up-to-date information. Have your insurance card ready, as we will probably need some basic information from you about your policy. We are happy to submit your paperwork on your behalf. We also accept a variety of forms of payment, such as cash, check, and major credit cards.

If you were in a car accident, you may also have other types of insurance to consider. After we know your exact situation, we will be able to better support you with your insurance questions. However, please feel free to browse some of the information below in the meantime.

Does my insurance cover your services?

The treatments and consultations we provide are covered by many insurance policies. As far as specific terms in your insurance are concerned, we are probably not qualified to explain those details to you. However, we are happy to help you find out who might have those qualifications or how you might simplify the process.

Why choose a chiropractor with auto-accident experience?

Most competent chiropractors should be able to identify injuries caused by auto accidents. While we strive to provide superior medical services, that is just one of the reasons to choose PhysMed over another chiropractor. Specifically for auto injuries, there is often a larger context that could affect the recovery. Fully addressing your needs will take an understanding of the medical role in legal conflicts, insurance claims and so forth.

Can you help me with legal advice?

Unfortunately, we are not qualified nor do we attempt to give legal advice. However, as mentioned above, we understand our role in the insurance and legal processes surrounding auto accidents in Florida. We can release copies of your medical records to you in order to support your negotiations in a legal setting.

I was just involved and injured in an auto accident. How can PhysMed help?

For life-threatening injuries, we urge you to seek immediate care. For other issues, we approach each case on an individual basis. In general, we try to treat the whole health of each patient, with a priority on non-invasive treatment first. Please give us a call at (941) 921-4884 to set up your initial consultation, and we will start developing your unique course of treatment.
